I live on the top story of a multi-floor building here in NW DFW. I felt the floor shake in a disturbing way and thought, "wow, was that an earthquake?"

it was, 3.4 magnitude @ 5 mile depth

7.1 and a 6.2 wrecked my home and city

 

this was mild by most standards other than we don't get many in these parts

looks like it was centered in the Irving area east of the DFW airport

got a small aftershock shortly after too, haven't seen that reported yet

 

lol, looks like it was centered in the north Arlington/Euless area instead
