(DFW) First DFW RX7/RX8 Meet of 2006!
DFW RX7/RX8 Club January 2006 Meet

Our next monthly meet will be Saturday, January 7 at 8pm. We meet in the parking lot next to Cheddars at the intersection of I-635 and MacArthur in Irving. A usual, all cars are welcome.
This month we will be having a cruise!! (map below) We'll leave for the cruise at 9pm from Cheddars so please be on time. Our final destination is Hooters in Addison off Belt Line Rd. Please bring any walkie talkies you may have and gas up your car before you arrive at the meet.

I forgot to mention that the 7s want to have a cruise after the meet. The final destination hasn't been chosen, but Addison and Lower Greenville were both discussed. When I have the route and destination, I'll let ya'll know.

very intersted in coming to a meet for the 1st time, is this THE only meeting in the DFW area? or what?
no plans as of yet for that day, and my 8 will be outta the shop finally! (i got rear ended by some fat bitch in the parking lot) ugh, but i get to pick it up friday.
Anyways, once you guys meet up what do yall do? eat and chill or what?

Our tradition is to drive up to the Hooters in Addison afterwards to eat. That's why I'm hoping the cruise takes us up that way.
There's other meets in DFW, see the "FW meet on Tues" and the "BJ's" threads. This is just usually the biggest one each month and the only one where 7s show up.

UPDATE: There will be a cruise from the meet to the Hooters in Addison. A map will be provided for everyone at the meet in case someone gets split up from the pack. I can also give out my number to anyone who may need it and doesn't already have it.

Love to join you but...
I would loveto join the combined RX7/RX8 meet at Cheddars on Saturady. Unfortunatley (or fortunaltely depending on how you consider the choices), i will be at NAIAS in detroit for press days covering the MAzda exhibits amongst other things. I will be sending reports and relavent pictures to the forum live as we get them. Check back here starting on the 8th through th 10th. Happy New Yar to all.

actually it went over quite well. i get to keep the car to drive to and from school for a week but no where else. so it really isn't that bad. i was gonna camp out at a best buy AGAIN to try to get a xbox 360 but it isn't gonna work which sucks but w/e and it got to go back to school on tues = LAME

I wish I could make it to one of these, but I've always got something going on during the weekend. Plus it's a little bit of a drive for me. But I will one of these days...so I say.
Poor Fenderlover, I remember the days of Mom threatening car usage.
But I didn't have an Rx8 when I was in school. I had a reall worn out 95 eagle talon. <- ended up bustin 8 months out of high school.

I'll try to make this - I've been wanting to hear some aftermarket exhausts in person before I purchase one. It's down to Racing Beat or the Greddy...maybe the Hymee if anyone has it.
