WA University Mazda - Free new engine

Every time I bring my 39K mi '04 into University Mazda in Seattle, I bring a case of beer with me. I'm pretty glad too! After noticing a loss of power at low RPM I brought my car in... and they're replacing the engine free! They're recommending I replace my not-very-old coils and spark plugs, plus maybe my clutch as they'd only charge me for parts. What are your thoughts? Do you find them to be gruff but awesome too?

Your getting a free re-manufactured engine, not a new one. But yes I recommend starting fresh with new plugs, etc.

Did they assess that you have low compression? Sad at such low miles if that's the case. Please have them check your cat as well. It can be physically defective and clogged sometimes without raising a code.
