Lost loves?

So, I've been paying on my '04 8 for 3.5 years, and I recently ran into the guy I sold my '90 rx-7 gxl and have been dreaming about driving the old FC. Anyone else have an experience like this?

Every now and then, I look online for FC's/FD's selling in my area. But, unless I move to another climate, that dream ain't happenin

I miss my old 89 325is all the time. It's a long story but i was forced to sell it. I miss the scream of that inline 6 and ironically the roughness of it. It was the funnest car to drive period but yet highly forgiving. I miss u old beemer..

I also went to an '04 RX-8 from a '90 RX-7 GXL (Brilliant Black).

I bought my 8 when it was new, but had the 7 for a few more year after that. I eventually let my mom talk me into getting rid of the RX-7 since it had been sitting on her property for a few years (it had some damage). Several months after that a guy in his early 60's tracked me down. The 7 had changed hands a couple times, but hadn't been re-registered..... So he got me to help him get it completely out of my name and into his. He said his plans were to put a LS2 into it!

I love my RX-8, but I often think about my RX-7 and miss it a lot still. I don't know what's happened to the car since then, but often wonder.

i live the dream! haha i still have my fc,fd, and the 8!

ive owned around 10 rx7's through the years tho and they all had a different feel to them or had different quirks, some were better then others...

ive been lucky and havnt really gotten the convertible withdrawls again, i know after i sold my first vert, i ended up buying another one a year later! but now my dad has it so i could drive it if i ever get the urge...

i was up to 3 turbo fc's last year , down to two this year, and im probably going to get rid of my 87 t2 by the end of the year. then dont really plan to downsize anymore then that for a while hopefully...

I put a lot if miles in an '81 Fiat Spider.....couldn't afford to keep repairing it a lot of fun memories in that car.
