Mazdatrix 13B REW/MSP Hybrid
I sort of remember that the corners of the apex seals are glued in place as an assembly aid and snap off after assembly?
I remember the old motors, particularly the 13B, you had to get hardened stationary gears and put snap rings on the gears on the rotors to prevent them from walking.

No..
All new Oil Pump, Water Pump, Timing Cover, all 3 Irons, (also no oil by-pass valve in rear housing-oil pan), Rotor Housings have extra nozzles, Lower 'e' pulley set.
Oil Cooler Pipes install is totally different (2 stud/nut attachment bracket on each of the 2 hoses with o ring seal), different Oil Pan...to name a few

Also they are using REW housings on this build, which is pretty much the only interesting thing about the engine.
I'm guessing it would be the cost of a rebuild plus two housings off an REW and a custom exhaust manifold.
Nah This hybrid would be better... It pretty much has the best of both worlds.
I would rather see them P port S2 housings for the 3 oil injector lines. That would be a solid DD/Track engine.
wouldn't pass smog for **** but it would be a winner.
