How does the car run on the 95?

I have found that mine runs perfectly fine on 87 octane here ( about your 95 I think) As long as it runs fine you don't need it re-mapped.

Theoretically the timing would be retarded if the engine knocks...but it is a well known problem that the knock sensor is close to useless for picking up anything but passenger side engine mount problems

Many thanks my car is running fine with 95 without any problems yet.my concern is will it cause any engine damage cos of the less octane?????

No...higher octane is only necessary if there are ignition pre-events

If the car runs fine you want the lowest octane fuel it runs correctly on. All octane does is slow down the flame propagation speed so that it doesn't ignite too fast. Higher octane fuel is a waste if the car doesn't need it. We are brainwashed by the fuel companies into thinking higher octane is " better" fuel. It isn't better...just different
