VA New owner of a 07 GT RX8

Hey everyone,

Names Josiah. New guy down here in Christiansburg, VA. After spending most of my time working and building Mitsubishi's; I decided to take a different path and venture into the world of the rotary. I have several friends who are rotary-heads. Most owning either an FC or an FD. Pending the results of the compression test, I am looking to pick up a 07' GT. Since it's appears everything is going to go well. I decided to make a intro thread.

Car currently has 20k on it. Been looking at the specs thread and pretty sure it has every option that was available minus any mazdaspeed parts. Car does have a few goodies with it already. Greddy front/rear strut bars and Injen intake. I am thinking the car has some sort of aftermarket clutch, but not positive. As much as I would love to throw the 3076R I have leftover from my last car on it. I am going to take a different route for now. Figured if the engine is still covered by Mazda's extended warranty might as well keep it. I am going to stick with suspension and wheels/tires, setting the car up autox/track as I have several autox events near by and VIR/Summit Point in easy driving distance.

Been going thru every FAQ need to know thread I could come across to educate myself on the Wankel and how to better take of the car. Only immediate mod I'm considering at this moment is the turboxs CBE and test pipe. As much as I love the HKS Hi power, the single just doesn't look right to me.

Anyways here are some pictures of the car at the dealership. It's dirty from all the pollen but will be detailed before I take ownership.
