That's a good plan! It's how I've been planning a (hopeful) turbo build for NEXT summer
I say this with all sincerity: I hope you don't forget about this and follow through with your instal! Seen too many members either not follow through, or else just don't update.

Engine looks good. Who is doing the engine build/porting?
Good luck with your build!

What power level are you shooting for?

Are you going to swap out the trans and rear axle?

How are you going to tune it and mate it to the RX-8 PCM?

Cool build. Good Luck. Fastlane, I assume he is going to run a stand alone ECU along with the stock ECU.

the mazsport thing is all in the past? I didn't know. It's not like it's brought up every time Scott creates a new company. I have noting against the guy. I've never done business with him.

/thread jack.

GL with this build!

Thumbs up

^looks good!

Heres a bit of info to help you out.

The UIM engine hoist loop and surrounding metal will have to go to clear the firewall.

It's a really tight fit back there.

Looks good! Is an aftermarket EMS needed? I'm confused by the post about "using the front cover and all the sensors will work fine"...

Not really. A band saw to cut out a section and then weld it baçk up, if it can't be cut straight enough then the surfaces might need to be milled to square it up. It is not that big of a job for a proper fab shop.

$450 for shortening a 20B manifold, a 13B should be less work and hopefully cost less
