The OEM rx8 wheels come in 18's. I have all 4 wheels and tires off my 06 GT. The wheels are 18x8 with nitto brand tires. I'm open to offers soo shoot me a text. 8325474948

 

actually the OP is right... Base model (no frills whatsoever) comes with 16" wheels and the "non sports" suspension.

I saw a FS thread here the other day for the 16" wheels ... want to say the guy was looking for $200 (included tires)

Yes the Base model RX-8 had 16" wheels. I got a new set of take off tires, 32 miles on them from another auto we bought. We put 18" wider wheels & tires on the new auto for in town driving the 16's would be for long trips. (little better ride as I added stiffer sway-bars to the susp. on the new auto too) The new auto has the same hub center and 5x114.3 bolt pattern. New / used take off tire's are worth next to nothing so I thought I would like to find a set of wheels that are not in big demand. 18" are more sought after & 19" even more so. That's why I posted "If you don't want an arm & leg I would be interested in them". And where we live, I'm not in a rush to buy.
