Recently I've gotten a few CELs. P0301 (Rotor 1 misfire), P0125 (Insufficient Coolant Temp for Closed Loop Fuel Control), and P0171 (System Too Lean).

I've got an 04 with 88k miles. I just bought it used, so I'm going to assume the 301 is coil/plug related. I plan on replacing those. That leaves 125 and 171. After some searching, 171 seems it could be an issue with the Fuel Pump/sock. I'll first replace the coils and see what happens from there. Probably pull it out and clean the sock or just replace the pump with a used one. If what I have planned here doesn't look right, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The big issue here, though, is 125. I've tried to figure out what is going on with this code, but I'm coming up empty. My overflow bottle for coolant is full, so I'm not entirely sure what is going on. Some people have suggested the coolant temp sensor is bad, but I haven't seen any definitive "Yes, this is what fixed my problem!" posts. Any assistance on this code would be greatly appreciated.

Received the BHR Ignition Coils, replaced the plugs and wires and the car runs great now!

 

did u do anything extra about 171? I got that CEL too. Rotor 2 was misfiring few weeks ago so I got the plugs, wires, coils replaced. That problem is gone now and its just the 171.
