New here. I searched the matter and came up empty...The RX8 doesn't open its additional ports until higher in the rev range. Is there a way to keep them open all the time? If so what are the repercussions of doing such a thing?

 

The ports open and close to give you the most horsepower available at that rpm range. Tying one open would reduce you available power at the lower rpm. And, that is where it is most needed.
