First Laps at the Ridge Motorsports Park (Shelton)

Remember that whole "Race in Mason County" stuff? Well, fast forward a few months and they just completed paving on the track!

Thanks for posting, that looks like a fun track. I like the switch backs at 2:08. There are a lot of tracks in our area now

How long do you think it'll be until the fd will be running?

That looks like it's gonna be a beautiful track when it's done. Thanks for posting the video.

500hp all motor 93 RX-7 and 500hp 09 GT-R actually. I wonder which one will turn faster lap times.

What do you do for a transmission in the 7?

Here are the details in case anyone is into LSX V8 motors.

Engine: 224/226 114lsa custom cam, ultra light roller rockers, Comp racing lifters, TEA ported Trickflow 215cc heads, and 2qt accusump.

Transmission: Camaro T56 6 speed upgraded to handle 700hp, 15lb flywheel, carbon clutch, and Kaaz 1.5 way differential.

Body/wheels - still planning but I have a 99 spec front bumper and wing, Pettit wide body rear fenders, and Ronin wide body front fenders. Looking to run 315 tires in front and 335 in rear. Not sure if I will actually do the wide body though since it is expensive to do all the body work, paint, and get custom wide wheels.

The setup should be good for 7200 rpm (1000 rpm over stock) and 425-450rwhp with a really great powerband and excellent throttle response.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep this in mind for when my engine eventually fails

Looks like lots of speed on the front straight can be achieved. Which car has more torque?
