VIR Holiday Laps
Virginia International Raceway is holding its annual Holiday Laps on Friday 11/11/11.
For a $25 tax deductible donation to the Salvation Army you get to drive your car for 20-25 minutes on the track.
You're behind a pace car and they advertise it as "highway speeds", but in practice you may get to go way faster.
They throw in an 8x10 photo of your car on the track and there are $10 laps in an Ariel Atom available too.
Last year we had several RX-8s participate - let's try to get some more this time.
VIR is right on the NC/VA State line near Danville, 90 minutes from Raleigh.
