All the prototype pictures had an awesome Black/Yellow interior that included steering wheel and console top. Early press reports mentioned the two-color interior would match the exterior paint. Imagine my dissapointment when preorder info revealed only two color choices that are basically different shades of red. What gives?

I really wish Mazda kept to their original plan. I really wanted a Black/Yellow interior.

The yellow would have goten dirty really fast especially the steering wheel. Sure it looks cool new, but with some dirt on it it would look crapy really fast. There are actually a black, red, and tan interiors.

 

I agree that the yellow seat inserts and probably the yellow steering wheel accents would have gotten too dirty too easily, but I would like to see an option for yellow accents in the doors. What do you think?

 

well, if you can wait for the 2004, the color options will most likely be expanded.

 

You would be seriously regretting the yellow interior after about 40,000 miles or so...

But I really wish they'd given us the grey interior from the X-men car.

 

I wish that Mazda offered a darker red and also a darker blue ... plus include cloth color inserts choices too!

 

i just want the white exterior. why dosent the US get white?
