Okay guys,
I was cleaning up my wiring harness to put on the new motor when I noticed the connector that goes to the throttle body is broke. The little tab that allows it to snap to the TB is gone. Not sure how it happened but I need a new one. I still plugs in pretty tight but I want to replace it with a new one so obviously I will have to cut it and splice in a new connector.
Does anyone know if these connectors are standard for TBW TB's?

I had a rev limiting issue a few months ago that was resolved by unplugging it and plugging it back in so I suspect it has been cracked for a bit. Any info would be appreciated.
Sub'n for interest as well.
I needed to do some work on my after removing some of the nitrous stuff.
I've also partially melted my OMP connector harness and will need to replace that this winter.

I had 3 connectors that were cracked and broken, they do not sell the connectors individually.
You need to get a whole new harness.
I ended up zip tying my broken ones and using dielectric grease to protect it from the elements.

I am just wondering if the TB connector it's self is used on other electronics.
I wonder if this place has it?

It likely is replaceable, with some patience you can get the pinned wires to release and come out using a special tool that is essentially a micro screwdriver, you then plug them back into a good connector body in the proper order. I will see if I can get one off my spare parts harness for you.
^Good link
I used a micro flathead to de-pin almost everything on the engine harness (as well as the body harness). the tb connector has a lock piece (white) on the inside that you must pop out first and then take a flashlight to the pins. you'll realize how to de-pin them. basically there is a tab that slips into a groove/hole in the pin. pry up on it (just don't break it) and tug slightly on the wire. it will slide out with ease if you did it right.

Thanks for the info man, I appreciate it. I contacted a couple of connector suppliers and none of them so far stock that type of connector.
Just found this thingy...

It appears that all the cars in the supported models section use the same TB... You might get lucky if you broaden your search. Or you can contact Apexi and sweet talk them into telling you who their supplier is for the harness.

Nice find, I'll email Apexi but I'm sure they will just tell me to buy it,
If Teams cannot part with one then I guess I will have to go hit up the junkyards with that vehicle list on the Apexi site.

what--dont trust zip ties?
Little hint--take a picture of the thing before you pull all the pins out--it makes it much easier in getting them back in the same way. Or just do them one at the time.
If Team doesnt have one let me know--I may have one lying around somewhere.

i'm pretty sure the Mazda 6's use the same connector, those throttle bodies go bad all the time.
i looked really quick, and couldn't find anything new, although i had found a website that had a bunch of connectors and can't find that either...
