Before I used Royal Purple and nothing happened, but after I changed the Mobil1 Titanium tech, the check oil light was on everytime when the car was reving up to 3000rpm. And I drained all those, then changes back to royal purple, but now the car is reving up to 4000rpm ( and keep like 3 seconds) then the check oil light is on =.='.
I ask some mechanics ( not a rotary mechanic) and they say that it needs the 5w-40, add 3quarters of 5w-20, and 1quarter of 5w-40, then it will be fine, is it?

Anyone was in this case, pls help me, I don't want to hang the engine and rebuild it ( or do something stupid like that ).

 

Not likely from your oil...engine can't tell what kind of oil it has in it...just if it is low or not

I'm not check the code yet, and now my car is in body shop, maybe tomorrow I will check it again.

 

check engine or check oil? check oil light is just level nothing else. check engine is entirely different

 

it's check oil light, and check engine too, but I think it's another thing pop up, not because of motor oil.

 

Check oil light might be a bad sensor I think, search on here I know people have had issues with it.

 

Is it the Oil Pressure sensor?

 

We need to know for sure what it is.

How about taking a picture of your dash with it on, or just grabbing your owner's manual and making sure?

We could blab out guesses all day long, but they're just guesses until we know what the actual light on is.

 

I got the picture here. The right one comes up when the car rev to 3000rpm and keep in 2 or 3 secs. The left one comes on when I start the car.

 

the left one is tpms, tire pressure monitoring system. check the air in your tires. the right one looks like it might be the coolant light, but i cant see it that well. if it is and your coolant is full than its probably a bad sensor in the coolant tank which is very common

Oh great, now I know it's the coolant light, thanks zoom44. That's why my car was overheated last week.
