I want to make an offer on a new 2010 sport, the dealer is asking 22K (sticker 27K) so guys what do you think would be a fair deal. Edmonds says there is a manufacturer to dealer incentive up to $1500 on 2011 models. So I think, a 2011 sport can then go for around 23k. Any input would be appreciated and do you think will see any more incentives on 2011 models from mazda soon.

 

Sticker price is a joke. It doesn't mean anything.

If it's new, don't pay more than 21K.

Those incentives from mazda seem to change all the time. The first quarter of every year seems to be the hot spot for any unsold cars of the previous year. This past April there were incentives up to 4K if I remember correctly.

I remember when I bought my 05 RX8 new in October of 2005, they gave me 7k off of sticker. But they get you with the A.P.R. if you want to finance it..that's how it was when I bought mine new.
