18's is just the right size for the rx8. 19's is okay, but it looks big if you asked me.

I vote for 19's but then again, I might be a little biased...

It really comes down to cost and wheel design. Some 18" look like 19". Some 19" look like 18". Tires cost more for 19". Just find something you like and then see if you can afford it

19s are not too big and with some offset really give the 8 a more appealing (aggressive) stance.

do like me and get both. 19" 360 forged on order and 18" PIAA super rossa this weekend. 19 for show and 18 for trips and track. thought the 19" tires are more money statement is true. either look good with the right offset and ride height.

pdx is right: tire prices change quite a bit when going from 18" to 19".
My thought process on it was, "I already have 18's, if I'm upgrading then I want something bigger and more aggressive" In my mind there was no point in staying with 18's if all I was going to do was get a wider wheel.

It also depends on your goals for the car.
doing it purely for aesthetics? are you concerned with taking it to the track? budget?
etc etc

Thanks for all the post and i dont plan on taking it to the track or nothing..i just want a clean 8. And the money is a little bit of a problem, but id rather save up and get what I really want, instead of setting, ya know.
