So, I bought an '04 RX8 GT with lots of the Mazda RX accessories about a week ago and have learned a TON of useful info here and yesterday I put four new ignition coils in it all by myself! I'm so proud! I've never done ANYTHING that mechanically involved before. I changed the air filter too. Such a good feeling when I put it back together and it started on the first try, then took it for a spin and it ran so strong. Awesome. I may just do the diverter valve for the turbo on my Audi now! So thanks to everyone for all of this - I joined after I got the work done, just so I could say thanks!

 

That is great to hear! One thing at a time and you'll grow you're confidence.
fyi, it is usually a good idea to change the spark plugs when you do the coils.
