FYI, if interested. Just hung up with tech at Green Filters. They will very "very soon" be releasing a short air intake system (like the K&N Typhoon) with heat shield for the RX8. Supposed to have resolved several problems others have been having.

Got another Email this morning (2/25/04) from a different tech at Green Filter USA. The following was stated:
"We are working on a intake for your car for Mazda Speed. I still don't have the date when it will be finished." "We expect very soon".
I gather that being they are doing this for/with Mazda Speed. They are making sure all the "bugs" are worked out before release.
Also could this mean Mazda Speed is going to offer a little something more with a upcomming RX8 package. I've been told by a dealer they were but you all know how "rumors" are.
