HKS Hi-Power Signle side Exhaust with High flow Metal Cat
Hi guys
It's time to back to stock, so my aftermarket exhaust system is up for sale.
Item Includes
The whole exhaust system includes HKS Hi-power single side exhaust, Metal Cat Catalytic Converter and a resonator. Basically, the header back (from cat to tip) is what you are getting.
Item Description
The exhaust, the cat and resonator are all 3 inch in piping. Currently everything from the cat to muffler has been welded all together. I know a picture can say thousand words, but since i don't have a clear picture here, I will try to be as explicit as possible.
The CAT was "bolted" onto the header back and it was "welded" onto the resonator (with the connecting pipe of course). The resonator was then "welded" onto the catback exhaust. And because of that, one small section of the pipe on the exhaust was cut off. I still have the pipe, so it can be weld back if that's what you want. However, I won't be selling them separately and only sell them as is.
The up side is that it should be a straight bolt on for your RX8 after you take out your stock cat & exhaust (unless you have also done a mod on yours), simple as that. So the cost of installation will be kept at minimal.
Item condition
The HKS exhaust has done approx. 15000Kms and the CAT has done approx. 25000Kms. They are all in good condition as far as I am aware of. They will be muddy of course, as much as i would like to clean them, they are just not that easy to reach, aren't they? heh.
The CAT missed its thin metal plate which covers a section of the cat (see the pic). I don't think they affect anything really.
The photo was taken on the day it was installed, so definitely don't expect it to be THAT clean and shiny now.
Pick/Delivery
I will make this a pick up only sale and the pickup location will be in Nunawading East in Victoria. VERY IMPORTANT, the exhaust will only be taken ON THE DAY you pick it up. If you want, i should be able to organise a installation with my mechanic with extra charges (I don't know how much, so i will need to find out).
Price
Only asking $550 for the entire setup for quick sale.

God i miss that exhaust, If you can live with the single exit it is the best catback for the rx8! wish you didnt cut it up i would of prob bought it back.

Thanks, it was a jaw dropping good exhaust. Will never want to sell it if it's not because i am selling the car very soon.
