We had rack, ps module, steering column and harness replaced this time last year and the power steering went out again this month. Repair facility wanted to automatically replace the module and rack again. The power steering issue last year cost $2,400, it was on 13000 miles ago. I flat out refused...I told them there must be a way to check the module or rack, if I have to I will replace one or the other but not both again. I also insisted that they check the connectors. So, after refusing the costly repair they begrudgingly tried a different rack and that didn't work either. So, they tested the connectors. When you use a probe and check the connectors you apply pressure with the probe and the light comes on the probe. They found though that once they connected the connectors together power steering went out again. So, they found that the connectors didn't have pressure to work once connected. So, anyone having a problem with their power steering keep this in mind.
