anyone knows a good rear diffuser that would work on a stock bumper?
I dont like the factory mufflers hanging low.

 

i know its old, but i have the same question i thought we'd bring it back to life to see if there are any new answers?

 

there are plenty of other things that would be hit prior to the stock muffler..... even lowered i have no issues with muffler clearance.

It takes more than fins to make an effective diffuser. It still looks like an air brake scoop to me and likely has very minimal if any effect.

 

I second that anything that doesn't require modification is good in my book

 

Beware. Most 'diffusers' you see are fashion accessories and have little, if any, practical effect.

To have any reasonable effect you need a flat underbody, a maximum diffuser slope of 7 degrees and, preferably, low ground clearance.

I've thought of having a go several times but still have loads of more important things to do. I'm also a little wary of panelling under the exhaust resonators until I've checked out boot/trunk temperatures (fine on a track car but not when you have to put the weekly shopping in there).
