General Question about Mazdaspeed Parts

Do Mazda dealerships recognize Mazdaspeed parts similarly to Toyota and TRD, or Mercedes and AMG? In that if you buy aftermarket mazdaspeed parts such as the suspension componenets, or the flywheel, which usually void the suspension warranty, and the transmission warranty, do you get the full warranty coverage because they are made my mazda? Because my car is currently leased, and my dealership is relatively leneant aobut the lease terms, in that i can modify as long as it doesnt adversely affect the warranty in a large way. Therefore, if i get the full mazdaspeed springs, and shocks, does it fully retain my warranty because its made my mazda?

It should, but you should ask the dealership.

I do believe, though, it MUST be installed at the dealership, which can get very expensive.

If anything, get whatever parts you want, install them and when your lease is up re-install the OEM parts. Dealership will probably never know...

I agree for the most part, (i.e ecu) but for something like suspension components, that would be too much of a pain in the ***, i would rather just leave them on.

Check out the www.finishlineperformance.com .. they sell the mazdaspeed parts (cheap too!) and they also have the warranty code listed.

For instance, the exhaust is a warranty code G which means the part itself has a 1yr warranty and the car's warranty remains intact.

actually the suspension, exhaust, appearance items are all Warranty code G's and don't specify as to be needed to be installed by a dealer.
