googleleads killing my RX8club experience

Has anyone else had the pages stall waiting on googleleads.g.doubleclick.net?

All afternoon I've been stopping and reloading stalled pages waiting on googleleads. I'm not opposed to the forum owners making money with these ads but I don't think they would be happy to know it's destroying the site performance and making it difficult to surf.

Seems to back to normal for me now. Just the last couple hours it's been a complete 1995 vintage grey screen waiting for google to send it's ads back to me.

Odd. Now it's happening on another site with a different ad link. I wonder if it's something with the wife's Mac? or Firefox 3.6 on Mac?

OSX 10.6.5 here. The other day I noticed a.postrelease.com was slowing down page loads. Are you using Safari or Firefox?

Perhaps one of your plugins? I'm using FF and not having that problem.

when I get slow downs from ad servers. I just add them to my hosts file and point it 127.0.0.1
no more waiting and no more ads from that server

Win7 Ultimate, FireFox 4, Ad Block.

I wait for nothing.

That said, I don't see anything from GoogleLeads when I analyze the page for scripts. Only Google-analytics.

Agreed. Ad blocking would solve the root problem, just looking to figure out what changed to start causing this problem.
