Ls2 coil info?

I know this has been beaten to death, but i have searched and haven't quite found the answer i am looking for. There is a bit of confusion on whether the ls1 and ls2 have the same spark output trigger. i have a microtech lt10s and i need to know what to set the spark output to for ls2"truck variant" coils. I've seen a few things that say they are the same as the ls1(falling edge -neg) and then i have seen a few thing denoting that they were rising edge pos triggered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

have read through that numerous times. it says they fire on the pull down(falling edge), but im confused because everywere else say they fire on the rising edge(ls2) and ls1 coils fire on the falling edge.

there is debate all over the internet about this. the answer is right here on this forum though. i do not recall it off the top of my head, but MM indirectly made it pretty clear that was rising/falling edge(whichever one)

lol in the megamanual it says they are a falling edge. and i searched the forum for many hours last night and couldn't find the answer. Couldn't even fin what the stock rx8 coils were, cause if the ls2 coils are pretty much a drop in they would be the same for the trigger.

ls2/yukons will work on a na rx8 engine. If the dwell is increased then they also will work on an 8's FI engine.
No one has tried the ls 1's - that i know off. The 2's are a better coil so why would you want to install the 1's?

he's not installing the LS1 coils. he's installing the LS2 coils. He just cant figure out if they are rising edge trigger, or falling edge trigger
