You think that's F'ed up?

GM began selling corporate shares again today after their recovery from the big 3 bail out. The American public wasn't given the opportunity at the IPO, while China was able to purchase about 1% at $33 PS (I believe)today. Tomorrow share are guaranty to increase by a profitable margin. Don't know if you and I will be able to take advantage of IPO anytime in the near future
How can a company that was saved be the American public, refused the public an opportunity to make a profit off their tax dollars??? That's ludicrous

It says that they won't be directly sharing vehicle platforms anymore, presumably after the current generations get redesigned. I wonder how this will affect Mazda's future product lineup.

saved by the American public what? this country has money? I didn't know that.

and guess who is the biggest bond(AKA money that we OWE other countries) holder is ? China.

what im pissed about GM is that wow they can just do whatever **** they want, make the stupidest decision, **** everything up and bam! go thru this "chapter 11" bullshit, giving all the debt holders a big fat "f-u i don't own u **** anymore, what u gonna do! government will always bail my *** out"

^ You said it..only for their own technological advancements. It's not about China embracing GM, only exploiting them. The writing is on the wall, we will see more focal GM operations being carried out over sea's. What China now owns today will only multiply in the future, its inevitable. How will this help the American Economy with job production? Answer is it won't. All in all this is a selfish decision that only effects the domestic population.

Only time will tell. But, I do share your frustration and anger as it pertains to this matter
