New Tires for the R3, very impressed

Since I only got about 14k out of the stock tires with very easy driving, was not going to spend the money to replace them with the OEM tires. After much research I went with the Hankook V12 Evo, I must say so far I love them, so are so quiet and smooth, and handle great.. and for being almost 1/2 the price of the Bridgestones, they have me sold. just my 2cents..

great on dry road, ok in rain for straight-line,

piece of crap when making turns on wet surface. be careful when driving in rain (esp. when making big turn on ramps).

I also recently purchased these tires. I've been using them for about a month now and they're definitely the best "bang for your buck" tire.

In response to the above post, I'm actually very impressed with the V12s in the rain. Sure, the traction isn't anything to brag about, but most performance tires have absolute garbage handling on wet surfaces, with very expensive tires being exceptions. The Hankooks are affordable, provide the great traction you would expect out of a performance tire, and also notable traction on wet surfaces.
