Chipped Matte CF hood

I could have cried I went to my car today after work and down in the corner near the passenger side light is a massive chip which goes right to the weave.

Does anyone know how I can get this repaired I will end up going to a body shop but most around my area are only accident repair and wouldn't know what carbon fibre is.

thats the resin that is chipped.

you'll either need to sand that area down and paint the whole hood, or find a way to get a new layer of resin put on and possibly make it look like ***.....

either way you are up **** creek

yeah you are screwed the only option is to fill in that hole and paint that part of the hood and leave some carbon showing, paint it all, or buy new. You cant get resin to fill in just that spot with out making it look like ****

Repair it and have it painted to match the car. It will look better in my opinion.

Don't think you can repair just that one spot.. Either leave it as is... paint it to match your car or get the whole hood wrapped with CF.
