As some of you know, my car was smashed about a month ago. The body shop found some of the parts, but say the front bumper has not been released yet. Anyone know something about this, or know where I can get the parts? I've been without my car for a month now, and he says it can take up to another month to get all the parts. This body shop is one of the best around, and the guy is a real pro, so is there truth to what he told me? Somebody please help!

I find it really hard to believe the body shop can't find a front bumper. What's your dealer say about this? Plenty of other people have smashed their cars and gotten new parts- I think they're jerking you around.

 

Yep, I agree with Elara, find another dealer or bodyshop. For that matter, check with Trussville or Rosenthal Mazda here in the Vendor's forum, I'll bet either one of them could get the front bumper in short order.

Or, like RX8Power suggested, buy the Mazdaspeed (or a copy thereof) bodykit.

 

It sounds like he didn't take it the dealer (good thing in most cases) and his shop guy can't find/get the bumper. There shoudn't be a shortage on parts.
