Hi gang.... this is a long post so please bear with me...

So I've been a loyal follower of rotary machines since the first rx7 back in the day, liked the FC and love the FD, then when the RX8 came out, i wasnt too excited about the fact that it would be a NA engine, then my buddy got a 2004 rx8 gt and I must say, its a beautiful machine, everything, from when you put the key in the ignition, to the way the seats feel to the sort of *robotic* noise the engine makes; everything everything everything is awesome.

I've been looking for one since, now here is my question...

I plan on getting the mazda speed body kit on mine; i love the way the GT package looks, but would it be a waste getting a gt package and then upgrading to the body kit, or should i just get a regular rx8 and work my way up?

Also, do the base RX8s come with leather, or is that an option or part of the package of the GT?


right now im looking for a rx8 gt, with the red exterior and the red interior and the navigation... Im in love with this car

I am not sure about the S1 but as far as the S2 goes, there is really no exterior difference between the Sport and GT except fog lights. So really the question comes on what kind of interior ameneties you are looking for "right out of the box"

I would take a look in the sale section on the forum, lots of great deals

 

For Series 1 cars, the Front lip, side flares and rear flares are optional appearance package items. They are not tied to base, sport, or GT packages. You can get a GT without the appearance package and there are quite a few cars out there like that. The red and black leather is part of the GT package though, so you'll want to look for GT's.

in my opinion thats one of the best combinations of car, red exterior and black and red interior...

any other interesting/good combinations that are out there??

Thats another thing i like baout the rx8, theres a ton of options so theres very few rx8s alike out there, i see some that are orange and black on the inside some that are plain black.
