Mazfix Oil Cooler

I saw on Mazfix's website they have a oil cooler kit for sale there for 725, much less then from other sources here and its local.

Now the deal is whats the quality of this kit?

Does anyone have experience with it?

Or does it really not matter that much?

Regards
Jason

I got one done by Mazfix. They are sourced from PWR. Mazfix then make up the appropriate brackets and hoses and install it for you.

send these guys an email to check warranty on lines and freight charges, but the price seems to be too good to be true.

look at where carboninmotion are routing the oil lines. it works but not very neat. it doesn't even look like the oil lines are restrained.

another option would be racingbeat oil-line kit and source your own cooler of a suitable shape for the driver side. although it would be hard to beat the maxfix price.

I have run the stock second oil cooler as a 2nd water radiator for 18months now and i'm sure i make a lot more power than you will get from the SC .
Don't have any overheating issues whatsoever - track tested . The only time i've had an issue is when I put a big *** intercooler blocking airflow to the rad.

thread on it here .....

no cooling mods, apart from a lower temp thermostat. it helps but isn't a cure.

Wow, that's expensive. I know I am in the US but I replaced both stock coolers and lines with a 28" single Fluidyne (awesome) and in Texas heat my oil temps are kept down on and off the track. I also saw a nice bump in oil pressure too (though to be due to the shorter, less restrictive, larger hoses. I also installed a real oil thermostat. It may be over kill but I did eveything for around $300.00 (bought the oil cooler on ebay slightly used off a NASCAR).
