As some of you may know, my father is a wholesaler from Durham Kia out in Oshawa - he recently picked up an RX-8 and thought he'd throw it out here.

Its a 2006 Mazda RX-8, GT (leather/roof/power seats/heated seats - only missing the navigation), Galaxy Grey, just turned 74,000 kms, black/tan interior, car proof clean/no accident history, off-lease vehicle.

Drives great, stereo is working fine, clutch feels good, tires have life on them still.

Asking: $16,500 (taxes and licensing is extra).

You have obviously not done your market value research. A major "good luck" with sale sir.

 

I am curious to know why it's "obvious" that, that is in fact the case? The price is based on the auction prices and some of our experience with dealers here. We believe this is a reasonable retail offer - of course its open to negotiation and interpretation.

You are located nowhere near this region (hell not even in this country) and thus I would be highly suspect that you are more qualified in knowing what the the going retail rate would be.

If you're not going to even wish a sincere good luck please save your smart-*** remarks for someone else.

 

In Canada this price technically makes sense for an 06 model...

 

You are correct that I am not from your country. However I did look up the VMR Canada price before I posted that comment and it is no where near what you are asking. It was just a heads up anyway. No need to slap me in the face with your maple leaf...

LOL - if looking up a guesstimate on VMR Canada is "market research" then I'd see where you're coming from. Thanks for the heads up but no thanks, we've got a good handle on retail and wholesale prices for vehicles in this region.

Back on topic:

NB: Car will be up for retail for a little while however we will be pushing it through wholesale later in the month!!!

I hate you =( If you posted 3 weeks ago I would've jumped on this in seconds! I just bought the exact same car but with more km's.. why are you 3 weeks late =(.

Anyways, free *BUMP*! For the record, the price does make sense.
