Found MazdaSpeed Body kit, cheap
Found MazdaSpeed Body kit, cheap
There is this wesite. They offer MazdaSpeed style body kit for $799.
Even though its not a real MazdaSpeed Kit, I'm thinking of buying it, because the price is very attractive.
I spoke with the Rep there, and he told me it's available for shipment the same week.

you better hope you get a quality kit...keep in mind that "most" knock offs tend to be wavy and fitment willl be an issue... sometimes taking the cheap way out will end up giving you more problems in the future..but if you believe you are getting a good deal then go for it....but remember, you get for what you pay for..
I just installed the kit that I got from these guys, and this is how it looks. I actually got it for a little less than $799, I know the guy who works for them.

I Belive I spoke with them also- They are in Brooklyn, NY????
If they are the same people, they told me the company the deal with did a direct mold of the Mazdaspeed, and that for $799 it is unfinished- needs finishing work and painting. They said for about $1300 total they could get it finsihed and installed.
Seems good, since I am near them, but I assume the kit is fiberglass, which will not stand up nearly as well as plastic.

It's a fiberglass, but I like the look of it, and its very light. It does need finishing work, but not a lot, I cost me approximatly $1300 to do everything, and that included extra money for two tone paint that I used on the body kit
(the bottom of the body kit is in Gun-metal color).
I'm not sure if they'll sell parts separatly, but if someone wants it very bad, I might be able to help you shave $100 bucks or so from the price of the whole kit, like it cost me.
Actually, they are in Staten Island, NY.

grille - is a regular mesh grill, nothing special, but it looks better in live.
about the fiberglass - if I hit dip hard enough neither fiberglass or abs plastic will handle it and it will crack (happend to my brother).
I just have to drive carefully, plus, real kit is like $3000 dollars, I rather drive more carefully than pay this much.

It looks like a decent deal, and I'm not trying to dog on anybody here, but did anyone else notice that the company's name is Auto accessory store, and the person who started this thread's screen name is AAS? Plus, if you read the "Terms and conditions" on the website, it says that Auto Accessory Store will hereafter be referred to as 'AAS'.
Why the story about "knowing the guy" who works there? Just post it on the vendor forum and be done with it. I was interested in purchasing until this caught my eye, and I have to say that misrepresentation is not a good first impression to give potential customers. Just say that you work for them, nobody would care.

LOL. Actually I don't work for them. :D
When I initially signed up with RX8 forum, I was at their warehouse, and I couldn't come up with the name so I asked my friend for suggestion and he suggested to put AAS, so I did.
I have nothing to hide, and I'm not getting money if you buy it from them or not. If you don't trust them, than buy it somewhere else.
I just wanted to tell you that this place is available. That's all.

Oh, my mistake then. :o I see so much of this kind of behavior on internet forums, (and you have to admit, the username does seem a little odd...) that I guess I jumped the gun.
If you use the wizard on their website and pick RX8, it will show my car.

If you need a picture of the specific section of the body kit, or any close ups, let me know I'll take a picture and post it for you.
