i was wondering if any one has attempted and or has been successful in taking the either single or twin turbo set up off a 13b rx7 motor and installed it on out rx8 13b ren motor i am thinking of doing this and have been for a long time but dont no if its doable and what exactly would i need to do it? can you help me out thanks.

Cheaper isn't a word one should use when going FI on our cars. Read the sticky treads about turbo's and choose if you really want to go that route. I believe a fair amount to budget is $5,000 plus plan B if you blow the engine which isn't unheard of.

^ Dont turbo your 8 there cant be two wb turbos running around lol. I just put a turbo on my 8 and cheap definitely doesnt come to mind the route you are going would probably be a lot more difficult because not many people have done it so you wont have as much help from the forum as you would if you go FI via turbo.

 

yea but it would be sweet a twin turbo 8 and i like being the odd one out once in a while
