Its not the wax thats doing that, its the paint and sun. Mine looks the same way. If its in the cracks use a q-tip to get it out. I going to have mine repainted. Odd thing is my first 8 did not do this but the 8 I have now is like two white strips

I can't see your pictures because of government internet blocking them, but if you talking about what I think you're talking about then try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If that doesn't do the trick, you may be looking at just plane ol' sun damage. In that event some Mother's Back to Black should make it look good again!

Nope, read above. They are the paint matched roof strips.

actually, its neither...

it isn't any of ur wax making the roof strips hazy... from what i've seen, mostly all rx-8's don't have a clear coat on those strips. sad, but true.

i still don't understand the reason why. maybe the clear coat may crack upon installing it???
but its ok to have wax on it. just go over it with a microfiber.

have you tried this, Mothers Carnauba Cleaner WAX, it works very good for me. First step I use Rubbing Compound, second: Car Polish, and at the end I finish it with Mothers WAX that makes it so shiny and leaves no haze.
