heres after last night...and its still snowing over where i am

 

I feel your pain we have some serious snow in NY now also.

 

I'm from NY but unfortunately I'm stationed in Ft. Hood right now. My family has been sending me pictures of every single storm that has come through and its been getting worse. I can't believe how much snow the East is getting this year. It's been awhile since we had a rough winter.

**** your tellin' me man, it got down to like 50F last night and it only got up to 70F today even with all the blue skies and sun.

 

i tried to take a pic of it but my car is surrounded by 21 inches of snow

 

i miss texas weather.. i should be moving back this summer!!!!!

That's true, much of the effects on metal depends on where you live, but much of snow/rain does contain some calcium and acidic properties. So even if the car does not drive on the streets, metal will still degrade over time.

I feel you on the snow this year. my back is so far gone. I wish I would have read farmers almanac and invested in a used bobcat. it would have paid for itself by december 20.

...btw, it calls for another big storm in march :-/

Yep... i hate snow.

21 inches and counting. What sux most is i couldnt find a spot on the left side of the road... damn sanitation created a wall of fluffy stuff that is as i speak, freezing over.

 

I found it to be quite cohesive to the flow of the conversation. And look, it brought us some stupid, but funny, little jokes.

 

Water never hurt a car, 'cept rust of course. But I'm more concerned with the ludicrous volume of sand and salt they lay on our roads.

This has been a tough winter in that the storms have been spread out just enough that there has only been one weekend day with snow/sand/salt clear roadways here.

But I only have one more month to wait....

 

+ one to the one more month. I love snow, but even I can't wait for spring at this point

 

do you guys park out side becasue it is easier to dig out? I would park in the garage but i am from california.

 

No, we park outside because we don't have garages. It is actually harder to dig out around the car then clean the car off then dig out the snow you just cleaned off of it again when it hits the ground. I don't dig out my car. I drive my truck
