Royal Purple trans fluid
Apparently I have been living under a rock for the last few years and missed the update that Royal Purple transmission fluid is very bad for a MT RX8. I am almost to 30K miles with the RP and and wondered what, if any, potential damage there is. I was planning on changing it anyways and that is what has lead me to find this new info.
The Miata guys rave about Motorcraft trans oil and wondered if there are any more current thoughts.
