I recently got an RX8 (04) and love it. I live in NW London and would like organise a meet up with other people that live nearby and are passionate about theirs. If there are people out there that express interest, then we can arrange a time and place. Im going to throw the suggestion of the Ace Cafe.
Anyway, reply if you are up for a meet and well sort something out.

Welcome to Rotery ownership, i see your interested in a meet. may i ask if your registered on the UK Owners club forums yet? as we hold reguler meets around your area. the closest to yourself may be the Barnet meet held once a month and also the Essex Meet held in Chalmsford on the last friday of each month. I usually try to attend both and they are both usually pretty well attended.

The Club are also organising a London Tunnel run starting from the Ace cafe around mid February and thats always a great nights drive.

Whats the spec on your 8 dude and how you finding ownership?

Thanks for your reply. I havent got round to paying for membership on the owners club yet. Its something i really need to do but after the increased expense of petrol, insurance and tax with my RX8, im trying to put it off for just a little longer!
I have a 231 in Grey born in Jan 04 (making it a 53 plate) but in perfect condition and 50k on the clock. Its pretty standard at the moment as i havent got any mods just yet but looking for ideas.
Do you know when and where the next Barnet meet is going to happen and will you be there?

 

How much does the rotary owners club asks for membership?

 

Hi mate.
Next Barnet club meet is next wednesday at the arkley pub.
The owners club is free do use but i think there is a 50 post limit for non members.
membership is £30 i think with the renewal being slightly less, but unlocks heaps of discounts.

it half a tank of fule and i saved over £120 on my insurance renewal from joining.
I will be at the next barnet meet, non members are always welcoms, afterall thats how i started.

It is a very good car club & I have been with the car club,since December 2006 but I am bias as I am a member of the committee aswell

 

It was only a matter of time before your post count got you in to higher places.
I really dont mind paying for the annual membershit... oops typo (should be membership), as its not just the discounts, there is the club organised stuff, the quarterly spin mag the cool keyring.

If your still up for a meet in your area the RX8OC have their monthly meet in Barnet the next one is scheduled for this wednesday and saturday night we will also be doing a Charity London Tunnel run, Leaving from the showcase cinema (just off the junction between A13 and A406) we will be meeting in the carpark around 9:30pm
