To answer the latter half of your question, the difference is the intake ports. The exhaust ports (from what I understand) are the same as the 6-port. Other parties, please feel free to verify/correct.
Thanks guys. Now that you say it I remember thinking it was weird that it only had one oil cooler on it but the 4 port issue answers that question I guess.
No this wasnt a joke I didnt know how to tell and to be honest I did not spend anytime trying to find the answer. I figured it would be easier to start a thread. Besides at least this way you get people leaving some feedback on differences and etc..
All US market manual transmission cars were originally sold with six port engines. Some people have inadvertently purchased used cars with a four port JDM engine. 99.9% of the time you have a six port.
