BC Racing, manufactured by the same company, but better warranty. They have more adjust ability and go lower than megans. And once warranty is up it's like $95 per corner to rebuild. But what they do is send you out a new set and you pull out the old ones and send them back. That way there is no down time and you get a new set of coilovers.

That's interesting.

I haven't noticed much talk about BC Racing coilovers on this forum.

Edit: I checked out their website and they are 8k front 6k rear.

I believe you can order custom spring rates for no extra charge. I know a guy with 16k and 18k springs.

I think he should replace those with steel bars.

The 8 we just bought for my wife has the BCs installed. I don't know what model or anything as we didn't get any paperwork on them, once I get under the car I'll have a better idea what we have. I'm actually going to raise it a bit as the car is pretty low. I have the damping adjusters set on full soft all the way around, the ride is taut but it doesn't beat you up.

As far as the cars I've ridden in are concerned, the ride is tight but not so much that your kidneys hurt. But with any coilover you can adjust them in ways that don't compliment the car.

properly mated springs / struts > "cheap" coilovers.

no idea about tanabe or nex but i think theres a couple of people on here with basics, i think they only drop around 1.8? so if you want to slam the car, u probably wouldnt want these, tho going as low as you will definately kill your handling, you might as well just chop ur springs at that point
