Just purchased the Metra DDin kit and Sony WXGT77UI

Ok, just purchased both of those on Amazon

Can't wait to get them, expected delivery date of Nov 16th, but I am hoping they will get here by Friday, so I can put them in.

Anything I need to be worried about during install? I realize there are tons of install threads on here, so you can just link a couple, so you don't have to copy and paste in here

Also, the HU I bought says 4ohm on speaker out, and I think the standard speakers are 2ohm, if I read that correctly. Do I need to worry about this, or anything else when I put this HU in my car?

I am probably going to post in the local section, to see if anyone in my area has installed the Metra kit, but I will say it here as well.

I live in mission viejo area, CA, my zip is 92679. Anyone near me installed the metra kit, and willing to help me if I run into problems? Just shoot me a PM. Thanks!

Sorry for delay in response time, haven't been on here in a long time.
I will try and get some pictures up tonight, or the next couple days.

Didn't really have any problems. Most of the pieces are held in by plastic tabs, and a couple times I thought I was going to break something.

The instructions included with the kit leave something to be desired, including the fact that they don't tell you that the brackets that hold the new head unit are supposed to be screwed into the same place where the A/C vents are screwed in. Took me a while to figure that out.

Other than that, I finished it in a day and didn't plan anything. I even learned how to solder correctly the same day.

If you live near me, I would be willing to help out. I also have a very high power work light to help see inside.
