No not that leg. My Leg lip

You know how bad crap happens in 3? A few weeks back someone back into my front bumper so it needs to be painted. On Tuesday I found out my company is outsourcing IT and will not have a job in a few months.

And now this.


I had a track day at PIR. I hit the apex of the 90˚ turn on 7 at full throttle and had a good line until I realized I was about to run into the person in front of me. Instead of rolling off the throttle like I know I should have done, I lifted and the front end got a little light. I went off the track over the curbing on the left side of the track.

Overall the day was awesome The highlight was the instructor taking me for a ride in a spec Miata. Holy crap is he fast around the track

I'm hoping the lip is repairable. The bumper is going to be painted soon and I will see what they can do. If they can not fix the lip without it looking like crap then it will be painted BB.

is the cf weave more of less unharmed? maybe you can get that section recleared or new resin applied.

 

That is what I'm hoping! Just need to find someone around here that knows how to work with CF.

 

When I went of the track and bottomed out all I could think of was the lip begin totally smashed. I know it could have been worse but still

 

I use to ride my 10 Speed around that track. Sorry about the lip, I mean Leg.

 

Damn that sucks at least it wasnt your realleg...wait... well im sure it hurts just as bad. Were it your real leg I would use that as an excuse for leg lengthening surgery oh yeah taller FTW

MAN that SUCKS! As you said, at the worst it will just be repaired and repainted though.
