Vendor Classifieds section: risky
Dear all,
I wanted to show my disappointment for the vendor classifieds section, where any paying vendor can post about products and then actually disappear without leaving trace.
I bought a couple of shift collars from KamiSpeed with another fellow forum member (Americanbulldog) and we didn't receive the box.
Nothing wrong with that, shipping problems can occurr.
The problem was that KamiSpeed promised to ship another box at his expenses without giving us the possibility to file a paypal dispute (the time elapsed, we were on holiday).
Now he doesn't result as a forum member anymore and we lost the old pms.
We already have enough trusted sellers here, is the small amount of money the occasional ones give you so important?
Do you ask for any warranty about the service they are going to offer through you? Is there a contract between you and them that discuss where their liability stands?
Just keeping it general. We already had Mazsport scamming us for a while and it was a "stable" vendor. Occasional vendors could do it for even less.
KamiSpeed was kind enough while being a member here so i'm positive about a resolution in our case. They were just incompetent (shipped a box without knowing that that kind of shipping had not tracking number).
It is the users giving you the possibility to get paid by the vendors in the end, not the opposite. Bad service = less users = less vendors.

Well they actually did reply to my mail and we're sorting something out.
The problem is that knowing that a vendor is not going to sell some parts and then disappear will help others. Apparently though all they care about is money
