Dip anything and make it look like oem!!
Anyone notice the engine cover in the gallery? Those black and blue rims actually look pretty awesome... I always love a good blue. Though they might not look as good on a car... I'd have to see lol.

I asked how much something like that engine cover would cost and they said $285. So I'd imagine at least that for each rim. It'd probably end up around $400+ depending on how much surface area they do. You could get a decent set of aftermarket rims for that cost, but it would be a unique look. Much cheaper than getting an actual carbon fiber wheel lol
yeah, it's definitely pricey. I'm guessing it would hold up rather well, but you'd probably have to keep up with it rather well and be sure to give it a clear coat every so often.

Holy crap, for $285 to coat an engine cover, I'd expect it to have lips!
But yeah, it DOES look really fantastic. I've been considering a white powdercoat for my OEM rims (so I won't hate putting them back on this winter as much), and I think I could do it for about $80 a rim if I can call in a favor or two. I guess I'll stick to thinking about that plan in lieu of a good dipping!
