Road & Track Readers' Choice Award
Road & Track Readers' Choice Award
Saw this, yesterday:
4:30 PM Channel 78 SPEED Saturday, 3
Road & Track Readers Choice 30 mins. - Readers pick the best five cars of 2004 from a list compiled by the magazine's editors and Speed Channel.
... and went to www.roadandtrack.com to vote.
Only 25 words (150 char) are allowed, so here is what I posted:
"I've owned three RX-7s and my RX-8 excels in design, engineering, handling and pure fun, despite EPA's 250k mile catalytic converter rule induced 9HP/4MPG loss "
There aren't any voting guidelines, so I expect the Porche to win, overall.

I just voted for the 8 at the automobilemag.com website in their readers choice (results to be posted in the May issue). Voting deadline is January 31. The RX-8 is listed under sports coupe, not sports car.
"The only truly new design in the final five. Award-winning Renesis engine, elegant comfortable 4-seat interior, smoothly deceptive speed, outstanding handling and lowest price!"
Dang, keeping down to only 25 words is tough.

In the February issue of Road & track, you will find a write up on five cars out of a field of 24 original entries. The votes were cast back in november to narrow the field to the top five.
Now is your chance to vote for your favorite car, the 2004 Mazda RX-8. If everyone on this forum takes a minute to cast their vote for the RX-8, we can make a difference. Please go to:
WWW.ROADANDTRACK.COM and vote.
Thanks very much.:D

Two comments on the posts so far:
The Porsche can be beat if everyone on this forum takes a couple of minutes to go to WWW.ROADANDTRACK.COM and votes for the RX-8.
Second point: Voting closes at NOON EST on JANUARY 21ST NOT 31ST.
GO VOTE NOW!
THANKS.:p

I voted. a comment in the Auto Week magazine's write up of the RX-8 made mention that this single car had received more responses than ANY previous car. I believe that phenomenon can continue! I started my 25 words with "Two words Sully: Renesis Engine..."
