new to the forums

whats up guys, 1st i wanna say i love the rx-8 its a beautiful car!! i was wondering, what do the automatics run in the 1/4? anybody know. and i guess as far as i can see the manuals run high 14s on an avg? thanks in advance, the auto has to be faster than my spec v, my best stock is a 15.28 at 91 mph..

The auto should be quite a bit slower than your Nissan, even with the manual low 15s don't seem all that uncommon.

Welcome, specv.

As for your question... the very first thread in this forum shows the RX-8 running a 14.32s in the 1/4 mile. Also, an RX-8 with the the "Canzoomer" ECU piggyback mod has been GTech-timed as running a 13.78s in the quarter.

The GTech manual says it's typically accurate to within + or - 10%, but members experiences show that it's sometimes better than that. I guess it depends on the unit. Like Ike says, only way to be sure is to take it to the track, and compare it with your time slips.
