I posted in the regional forums a while back and figured a post here certainly wouldn't hurt. I'm looking for GT trim level, black and am fine with any year providing good service records / TSBs handled if needed. Under 50k miles preferred and would spend up to $15,000 for the right car. However a lot of deals seem to be popping up for 11k-14k (just not the right color and most are auto!). I am located in Mass but willing to travel mostly anywhere in New England and possibly a bit farther south if needed for the right car.

So I'm trying my luck with my local Mazda dealer right now, they seem like a good bet. I saw they put up an 04 VR sport package with like 30k something miles and when I went in to talk to them today it had been sold (price was like 13xxx and they dropped it to 9,999) too bad it was an auto : P

Anyway, we'll see how it goes with them but just figured I'd give a heads up if anyone was looking to sell to me. They said it'd be maybe 10 days or so to see if they could find me what I'm looking for so I'll keep this updated on if I get one or not.

Thanks everyone for the replies and PMs but I'm going to hold off on getting an 8 for the time being : ( I decided that I'd be more satisfied with paying down my debt (that's what I'll try and convince myself for now : P ) and will be back looking for one in maybe a few months. At least my girlfriend is getting the Mazdaspeed 3 soon so at least I'll have something to tide me over in the meantime : )
