im considering the possibility of picking up a base 8 i can build out for the track.
basically, ill be ripping everything out of the interior, putting in my race seats, cage etc.
i dont need traction control, and i absolutely cannot have a sunroof.
so, condition of the interior, just dont care.. but exterior has to be in decent shape.

drivetrain must be in very good shape, low miles, carefully changed oil, etc.
most mods are probably a waste, but some could be helpful.
color? i prefer black. yellow maybe.. flexible.
wheels and tires are disposable too.

if there is a good enough deal out there, i might consider it. please give me time to respond, i get very busy with work... just want to know whats out there. looking at the ads here, seems most have too many extras to make it cost effective. you all have some nice 8s! <3

if someone has one already built, i would be very interested in seeing what you have...

after over 20 track days in my current 8 over the last year.. thinking of getting a dedicated track car.

Not being able to fully develop our RX-8 for the SCCA Solo STX class in 2009 we're thinking about putting it on the market (just purchased another car for a different purpose and can't justify 4 cars for two drivers ).
