As the title says, please post pics of your non stock stereo. In your post please include:
1. Dash kit type
2. Stereo model (and price payed if you son't mind sharing)
3. Any problems you have had
4. Weather or not you would recomend the kit or stereo


I would like to keep this thread as clean as possible, so people can come and see pics of different stereo options without pages of people argueing back and forth or endless comments.

 

Simple idea, just not usually helpful. Theres only two kits that are used commonly.
One is Corksport and the other is Metra.
They can search either one and its pretty big threads.
By posting together your going to be starting up another war thread.

 

I know there are only two kits but if you look at those threads you can go 10 plus pages without any pics. The purpose of this thread is for people who are only interested in seeing pics of different stereos/kits in 8's.

If they wanted to see kits they'd spend the time to look page after page. Its good for them.

Agreed. Not a very useful thread due to the limited number of dash kits and the limited double-din choices anyone who gives a crap would want in their car. But I'll play along. lol

1)Corksport. Got in a group buy and paid $410ish I think? It's cheaper than that now if you call.
2) Pioneer D3X package. $615ish for the whole package.
3)Zero mechanical or electrical issues with either the kit or the D3
4)The corksport is an extremely solid kit. I haven't heard one single complaint about the kit not performing as advertised. The D3 is an extremely solid platform that is very feature packed for the money. Keep in mind that this model is several years old now and the industry has advanced since. If you pick up one used for $350, great. If you have to pay more for used or new, then I'd just go with the newer F90BT and suck up the load times. Or obviously look to another name brand.
